We are currently seeking a professional to join our team in the role of Business Development Associate, Issuer Services (EMEA)

The purpose of the role to support the growth of the Issuer Services business across EMEA by originating, developing and converting new business opportunities across the product suite. The role manages opportunities through the sales and transaction lifecycle, builds effective relationships with clients, intermediaries and internal partners, and ensures disciplined execution, governance and reporting to deliver sustainable revenue growth and a strong client experience.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Originate opportunities: Generate and develop referrals from internal stakeholders, clients and external intermediaries across EMEA.
  • Manage the pipeline: Maintain a healthy, prioritised sales pipeline and progress opportunities efficiently from initial referral to mandate and closing.
  • Engage clients: Participate in client meetings, pitches and deal discussions, clearly articulating Issuer Services capabilities and value proposition.
  • Develop commercial proposals: Coordinate solution design, pricing, quotations, presentations and responses with product and relationship partners.
  • Coordinate deal execution: Track documentation, approvals and outstanding actions, remove blockers and support post-mandate implementation through to closing.
  • Maintain governance and reporting: Ensure accurate CRM records, pipeline and revenue reporting, approval materials and compliance with risk and business acceptance requirements

To be successful in this role you should have:

  • Relevant experience in financial services or capital markets, combined with business development or sales support experience
  • Business development and sales capability: Experience identifying, shaping and converting opportunities in financial services or a comparable business-to-business environment.
  • Stakeholder management: Ability to build trusted relationships and influence clients, intermediaries and internal teams across functions and geographies.
  • Commercial acumen: Ability to understand client needs, position value and contribute confidently to pricing and proposal discussions.
  • Communication and presentation: Strong written and verbal communication, including preparing high-quality pitches, proposals and committee materials.
  • Organisation and attention to detail: Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Risk, compliance, and control awareness
