ISP Project Manager
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Salary: $35.00- $45.00/hr.

Work Schedule:

2nd Shift, mid afternoon - evening hours

of Role:

SRI Telecom is seeking an experienced Inside Plant Deployment Engineer with relevant technical project experience to contribute to all areas of expertise with deploying equipment in a data center environment across various functional operations teams. You will assist Sr. leadership as they address capacity issues, new hardware deployments, and documentation of responsibilities by helping coordinate all associated tasks for business partners and in house teams. Strong Broadband Engineering knowledge or Telco Engineering knowledge of critical facilities will make you an ideal candidate for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with senior leadership to understand the plan of record including technology used, workflow, deadlines and cross functional teams.
• Take a lead role in coordinating all milestones from start to finish including intake, site survey, space/power, network connectivity, integration, test, turnup, migration and activation into production.
• Coordinate site surveys of ILA's/Colocations/headends/data centers to gain as-built information of fiber, RF, power, space and cooling.
• Manage weekly meeting with cross-functional teams to retrieve updates and provide current project status to senior leadership.
• Learn and develop an understanding of all systems, tools and processes (i.e. reporting, capacity, ticketing tools, etc.) that support workflow of projects. Suggest improvements.
• Make daily ad hoc calls to individual cross functional team members to drive issue resolution, drive dates and completions
• Host daily calls with cross functional teams - Engineering Operations, OSP Design & Construction, ISP Design & Construction, ISP & OSP Contractors, Program Sponsor, etc.
• Run advanced Excel formulas such as v-lookup & pivot tables
• Process big data spreadsheets to drive pipeline & milestone reports
• Swivel chair data between spreadsheets and other tools to maintain data integrity & congruity
• Join daily conference calls with executive leadership to present daily progress.

Skills:

• Expertise with edge and network deployments, fiber architecture, Core and Regional Networks, space planning, HVAC and AC/DC power plant.
• Working knowledge of AC/DC power, equipment cooling requirements, fiber, RF, and Network connectivity.
• Understanding of FTTx architecture.
• Must have first-hand experience managing the deployment of IT infrastructure at scale.
• Must be able to speak to your experience managing many fast-moving projects concurrently.
• Must be able to speak to your experience driving projects to completion.
• Must be able to track and report on milestones, what is a risk of missing and why.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
