As we continue to expand our portfolio, we are seeking an experienced ISO Compliance Engineer to strengthen our Technical Department.
The ISO Compliance Engineer is responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving the Company's Integrated Management System (IMS) across all construction, renovation and other technical projects, ensuring full compliance with applicable ISO standards, legal requirements, environmental regulations, and Company policies.
The role supports the successful delivery of technical department’s projects by promoting a culture of quality, environmental responsibility, occupational health & safety, and energy efficiency while ensuring that all project activities comply with internationally recognized management system standards. The position also supports sustainability initiatives through greenhouse gas emissions monitoring and reporting, internal auditing, compliance verification, and continuous improvement.
Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Ensure the effective implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the Company's Integrated Management System throughout all technical projects.
- Monitor compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems), ISO 14064 (Greenhouse Gas Quantification and Reporting), ISO 50001 (Energy Management Systems), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems)
- Conduct regular site inspections and compliance reviews to verify adherence to Company procedures, ISO standards, legal obligations, and contractual requirements.
- Identify non-conformities, improvement opportunities, and compliance risks.
- Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
- Plan, organize, and perform internal audits across technical projects and supporting functions.
- Prepare audit reports with clear findings and recommendations.
- Develop, review, update, and control management system documentation, including Policies, Procedures, Work Instructions, Forms, Registers, and Compliance records.
- Ensure document control practices comply with ISO requirements.
- Maintain accurate records demonstrating system effectiveness and regulatory compliance.
- Support the calculation, monitoring, and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions (Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3) in accordance with the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064 requirements.
- Assist in environmental reporting and sustainability initiatives related to the Company's ESG objectives.
- Monitor compliance with applicable environmental legislation, including regulations related to fluorinated greenhouse gases (F-Gases), waste management, energy efficiency, and environmental protection.
- Monitor changes in legislation and regulatory requirements affecting management systems.
- Deliver awareness sessions and guidance to project teams regarding ISO standards, Company procedures, and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or another relevant Engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in ISO Management Systems, Quality, Environmental, or Compliance roles within construction, engineering, infrastructure, industrial, or hospitality development projects.
- Knowledge of greenhouse gas emissions calculation and reporting (Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3) according to the GHG Protocol and ISO 14064 will be considered a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of F-Gases legislation and environmental regulatory requirements is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks will be considered an advantage.
- Professional certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent will be considered an asset.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with management system software or document control platforms will be considered an advantage.
- Willingness to travel regularly to construction sites and project locations.
- Strong knowledge of Integrated Management Systems and ISO standards.
- Knowledge of environmental legislation and sustainability principles.
- Familiarity with GHG Protocol methodology and carbon emissions reporting.
- Understanding of occupational health & safety requirements.
- Strong auditing and compliance monitoring skills.
- Excellent document control and technical writing abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
