Position Type: Seasonal
Salary Range: $16.00 - $16.00 Hourly

Purpose: The Island Retail Supervisor helps ensure the locations are operating smooth and efficiently. This role supports the retail team by assisting customers, leading by example, helping the team stay on task, and maintaining location standards.
Core Responsibilities:
- Expected to attend all-staff meetings on a weekly basis
- Weekly interaction with the Manager letting him/her know of any needs / concerns / events.  This is often done through face-to-face, email, and written communications.
- Provide on-the-floor leadership to ensure a positive, welcoming, and efficient customer experience
- Support and encourage team members while maintaining a positive and efficient work environment
- Works with manager to schedule students on a weekly basis.
- Plans and supervises the preparation and sale of food using agreed upon recipes.
- Orders food and beverages and other supplies alongside the Island Head Chef.
- Receives and properly stores orders and maintains par levels to ensure adequate product while reducing excess inventory.

- Must be skilled at written and oral communication within WOL to other departments, within his / her team at the facility, as well as with guests, vendors, and other staff.
- Must be competent regarding use of cash registers, POS systems, deposits & change funds, and other cash and inventory related systems.
- Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Maintain a positive attitude in a busy, guest focused environment.
- Basic business knowledge a plus.
