Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior iSeries Developer/Analyst (ERP & EDI) for our Exeter, PA location. This role is ideal for a technical professional who can translate business needs into reliable IBM i solutions.

About the Role

As a Senior iSeries Developer/Analyst, you will develop and support ERP and EDI solutions on the IBM Power Systems platform, troubleshoot production issues, document solutions, and help ensure secure, reliable data exchange.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, code, debug, and implement ERP enhancements and new applications using RPG, RPG III, RPG IV, ILE, CLP, fixed-format RPG, free-format RPG, and SQL
  • Analyze functional and technical requirements with users and business leaders and translate them into coding specifications, project estimates, and implementation plans
  • Provide programming support for system interfaces and troubleshoot existing applications, EDI failures, transmission errors, and data mismatches
  • Design, develop, and maintain EDI maps, documents, translations, communication workflows, and protocols including AS2, SFTP, and VAN
  • Test code and fixes for quality and accuracy and prepare application, process-flow, and data-flow documentation
  • Communicate enhancement, troubleshooting, and resolution status to internal customers and recommend system improvements that support business processes
  • Own assigned work throughout the software development life cycle, often working independently of a project manager
  • Mentor junior developers, cross-train peers, and help set priorities, schedule, and review the work of team members performing similar duties
  • Support deployments and business operations after hours as needed and perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an associate degree
  • 3–5 years of related development and analysis experience
  • Strong RPG, RPG III, RPG IV, ILE, CLP, fixed-format RPG, free-format RPG, and SQL programming skills
  • Experience developing and supporting ERP applications on an IBM iSeries or IBM Power Systems platform
  • Ability to troubleshoot EDI transactions and maintain secure, reliable communication workflows
  • Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills for working with technical teams, users, and business leaders
  • Ability to work independently and lead technical efforts
