ISE is seeking a Program Manager to join our team!

The Program Manager acts as ISE's primary representative for both domestic and international customers, playing a key role in bringing complex technology programs from proposal to delivery. Working closely with Business Development, Product Management, and Engineering teams, this role supports the preparation of bids and proposals and, once awarded, leads a specialized, multidisciplinary team through the full program lifecycle. The Program Manager is responsible for program planning, development, and execution, including budgets, timelines, resources, risk, safety and quality management while leading a cross-functional team to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Development: Support the development of bids and proposals by supporting the program and technical components of the submission.
• Plan, develop, and deliver the program management life cycle for commercial customers.
• Act as the customer’s primary point of contact and build professional, trusting relationships.
• Proactively balance and communicate customer and team project expectations. Be an advocate for the team and customer, acting as a liaison between the two while protecting the interests of each.
• Build and lead a high-performance, engaged and communicative program team.
• Establish, manage, and report on Program status, scope, budgets, timelines, milestones and other project controls.
• Pro-actively identify and manage foreseeable and current risks, issues, and constraints, and take corrective actions while collaborating with stakeholders.
• Understand and coordinate project interdependencies to ensure program deliverables and expectations are met.
• Lead the program teams domestic and/or international travel, (including on short notice) with the support from travel coordinators/partners.
• Manage program documentation in accordance with company procedures, security and compliance measures.
• Lead program safety
• Proactively participate in professional development, performance reviews and training.
• Mentorship and guidance to mature the procurement / technical buyers’ knowledge and skill.
• Participate in organizational occupational health and safety education, prevention, promotion, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Project Management, Engineering, Engineering Technology, or relevant career experience.
• Minimum five (5) years of Program Management experience for complex projects
• Demonstrate experience with planning, monitoring and executing budget and resource allocation for multi-million dollar programs.
• Experience managing large and complex projects in a similar industry.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
• Ability to obtain Canadian Government Security (Reliability) and Controlled Goods clearance
• Valid passport required.
• Ability to reliably commute to the workplace.

Security Requirements

All candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain Canadian Controlled Goods and Canadian Government Security clearances.
