Finance Leader, Residential ISC

Finance Leader, Residential Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) is responsible for working collaboratively with the Residential, Vice President of ISC Operations to support multiple plant locations. The position is accountable for driving financials processes across the organization, creating collaborative thinking for all ISC locations, as well as maintaining a culture of proactive compliance.

Based in our North American Headquarters in Davidson, North Carolina; this position will report directly to the Finance Leader, Residential.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for management of cost of goods sold for Residential Business Unit, including material and inventory, labor and operations, freight, warranty, etc.
  • Lead and support all Residential ISC plant and distribution growth & optimization initiatives
  • Perform management reporting and analysis, including high level analytical skills in reviewing monthly, quarterly and year end results
  • Assist, guide and review Long Range Planning, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
  • Responsible for effective working capital management including inventory and capital deployment
  • Cultivate and promote a lean stewardship around process improvement and consistency across the plants and distribution sites
  • Analyze and interpret operating results and influence outcomes
  • Mentor, lead and influence monthly forecasts, along with risk and opportunities for applicable sites
  • Responsible for Residential limited warranty and bulletin reserves and accounting
  • Responsible for inventory accounting including capitalized variances, LCM and LIFO
  • Review and validate reported Plant Productivity and Inflation to ensure accuracy and connectivity with financial results
  • Lead and partner on Standards setting for plants and all sourced finished goods
  • Ensure an ongoing culture of compliance with GAAP and internal controls
  • Partner with the local teams to provide financial leadership and guidance
  • Foster analytics vision and adoption throughout organization
  • Foster employee engagement throughout operations finance team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting/Finance.
  • 15 plus years of accounting/finance experience, with a minimum of 3 to 5 in leadership role (e.g., Controller, Finance Director).
  • 25-35% Travel Required

Key Competencies

  • Firm foundation in cost accounting principles and practices
  • Solid understanding of US GAAP
  • Experience managing internal controls and interfacing with auditors
  • Experience in forecasting and planning cycles
  • Excellent systems capabilities (ERP systems, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau)
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to build strong relationships
  • Must be able to work independently, multi-task, and work successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to adapt to and drive change effectively
  • Experience in capital investment business case analysis & development
  • Experience of working in a plant/manufacturing environment
