Detailed Description
Provide application development support for the Emerging Payments team to build and support consumer payment origination and processing. Design and gather business requirements, refine user stories, and develop during sprint using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, MicroServices, REST API, and Maven technologies. Deploy applications on container platform using dockize container orchestration technology and Kubernetes. Design high-level process and flow diagram and low-level sequence diagram along with architects, create swaggers and APIGEE proxies for REST APIs and define policies for authentication. Deploy payments APIs, services, and applications using continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline on various environments. Support second level production releases, issues, and hot fixes. Enhance monitoring and alerting tools including Dynatrace, Zenoss, Splunk, and log files to evaluate the health of mission-critical applications and to identify root causes for performance and functional issues. Write basic SQL queries. Follow Agile methodology for daily updates and roadblocks.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field. Five (5) years of application development experience using Java/J2EE technologies, including use of REST Spring Boot, GIT; Maven, Jenkins, JSON, Microservices, Apigee and related technologies such as Kafka. Additionally, experience must include at least two (2) years’ using monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Zenoss, Splunk, and log files, working with OAUTH2 and Spring batch framework, and use of Docker, Kubernetes or other container orchestration technology. Hybrid work schedule may be available if residing in Central Ohio area.
