Job Description

Hybrid remote/onsite position

Analyses business needs, defines requirements, develops solutions, implements, manages, and supports systems. Ability to work flexible schedules to meet job requirements; requires 24/7 on call after-hours support. Essential Functions:

  • Carries out systems analysis and provides support for complex medium to large systems across several departments. Manipulates, mines, and analyzes large, complex datasets.
  • Creates and maintains high quality system, report, and interface test scripts.Tests and debugs systems to ensure they are functioning properly. coordinates user acceptance testing.
  • Serves as a customer liaison for assigned business areas and provides technical support and troubleshooting for systems issues.
  • Documents system design, testing, and maintenance procedures for future reference. Assures data integrity and system survivability by developing and maintaining Disaster Recovery plans for assigned systems.
  • Collaborates with other IT professionals to integrate new systems with existing ones.
  • Performs system updates, patches, service releases, and upgrades as needed. Evaluates and recommends new technologies to improve system efficiency and performance.


Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, required.


Licensure Requirement:

Certifications:

ITIL certification or training, preferred.


Skills:

  • Strong skills in SQL programming, relational database management, reporting software tools and MS Excel, preferred.
  • Strong skills in data management systems and extensive spreadsheet, database and presentation graphics knowledge are preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project) required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively interact with external contacts, administrators, medical staff, and employees at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn, adapt and work with new applications or tools.
  • Able to be a visionary and see the larger picture.


Experience:

  • 5 years of combined experience providing information technology support, or equivalent education, required.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment, required.
  • Business and financial experience, preferred.
