This full-time opportunity is ideal for students in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related Science and Technology programs who are eager to apply their academic learning in a real-world setting while building practical, resume-ready skills.

About the Role

This is a full-time contract position (35 hours per week) with a minimum term of 12 weeks and the possibility of extension up to 35 weeks, depending on program requirements and business needs.

As a student on the Information Systems team, you will gain exposure to a broad range of activities while contributing to meaningful projects that support the organization. You will be working with the Manager, Development & Innovation who will coordinate assignments, provide guidance, and offer ongoing feedback throughout your work term.

What You’ll Learn & Contribute

Quality Assurance & Business Analysis

  • participate in a major technology transformation and see how ideas move from requirements to delivery
  • learn how business analysis and quality assurance work together to deliver high-quality solutions
  • create, refine, and document test plans and test cases
  • execute test cases across different environments, including feature and regression testing
  • analyze business requirements and different real-world scenarios to understand system behavior
  • help improve and standardize QA processes and testing practices

Project Coordination & Team Support

  • support project coordination activities such as tracking tasks, updating documentation, following up on action items
  • asssist teams in staying organized and on track throughout project delivery
  • participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and training opportunities that support your learning and professional growth

Who We’re Looking For

You are a motivated and curious student who enjoys learning how systems work and contributing to team-based projects. You are detail-oriented, organized and eager to grow in a professional environment. You should:

  • be currently enrolled in a Science and Technology degree or diploma program (e.g., IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field)
  • demonstrate professionalism, discretion, and the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • possess effective written and verbal communication skills
  • be well organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
  • be comfortable using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • be willing to learn software testing concepts, tools, and processes
  • be comfortable working in a team environment and participating in meetings

Assets (not required):

  • previous experience in a professional or office environment
  • familiarity with testing concepts, SDLC, or project coordination tools
