About the Role:Join FM Steel Construction as an Ironworker General Foreman in Gilbert, AZ, and lead our skilled team in delivering exceptional steel construction projects. This role is perfect for an experienced leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about quality and safety in the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of steel erection, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Coordinate and manage a team of ironworkers to achieve project timelines and goals.
  • Interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate installation of steel structures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues.
  • Maintain communication with project managers and subcontractors for seamless workflow.
  • Implement training programs to enhance team skills and safety awareness.
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, including daily reports and safety logs.
  • Promote a culture of safety and efficiency on all job sites.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in steel construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Valid OSHA 30 certification and knowledge of safety regulations in construction.
  • Strong understanding of steel erection processes and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks on construction sites, including lifting and climbing.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.

Compensation: $38.00 - $44.00 per hour
