Bilfinger UK are looking for an IR manager to join us on Hinkley Point C on a full time permanent basis
The IR Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining positive working relationships and resolving people related issues across HPC Site resources, working closely with Trade Unions and representatives to deliver fair and transparent people processes.
Dealing with IR and HR cases on site, up to and including Level 4 Appeals, grievances, disciplinary and mediation in line with HR, Contractual, TU and Trade processes and agreements, ensuring fair and due process is achieved.
Developing and maintaining best practice IR/HR policies covering areas such as grievance, disciplinary and performance management.
Leading regional/local Trade Union negotiations and consultation to enable delivery of HR and project initiatives and change.
Engage with TU Councils, employee forums, Pay negotiations and arbitration to deliver fair and transparent outcomes for BPTUK people and project delivery.
Developing and building effective relationships with Trade Unions, business stakeholders to enable change and ensure employee relations practices and procedures are embedded and aligned across the business.
Maintaining an up to date understanding of employment legislation, associated compliance and best practice in IR matters to provide consistent, high quality advice and guidance to the business.
Developing and delivering IR related training to upskill stakeholders within the business and deliver positive IR behaviours.
Engaging with site managers as single point of contact to provide advice and guidance on all IR/HR issues, supporting upskilling to ensure people issues are managed in a fair and effective manner in line with IR/HR procedures.
Monitoring delivery of regional/local ER to ensure compliance with practices and procedures.
Prepare and deliver analysis and reporting on site IR/HR issues to meet
Ensure all Immigration/Visa/Site Clearance documentation and processes are completed, recorded and maintained for relevant site personnel.
Work with the HRD to ensure all IR/HR processes and documentation reflect employment law and best practice.
Requirements:
Previous HR experience essential
Nuclear experience preferred but not essential
