What you will be doing and delivering

As the IPM Ground Team Member, you will be based at our Warragul site, reporting to the IPM Supervisor. You will play a key role in maintaining a safe, clean and productive growing environment by delivering hygiene, weeding, crop protection and grounds maintenance activities across the farm. Working closely with the IPM team and operational stakeholders, you will support effective pest management, maintain site presentation and equipment, and contribute to the health, safety and productivity of Flavorite's growing operations.

Key deliverables:

• Deliver hygiene, sanitation, weeding, mowing and grounds maintenance activities to maintain clean, compliant and well-presented growing environments.
• Safely and accurately complete crop spray applications, pest control activities and IPM operations in accordance with procedures and safety standards.
• Monitor and maintain IPM equipment, sticky traps, bait stations and chemical supplies to support effective pest management programs.
• Maintain accurate records of spray applications, chemical usage and IPM activities while supporting inventory management and regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to a safe workplace by following health and safety procedures, reporting hazards and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

What you will bring to the role:

Qualifications

• Current ChemCert Chemical Accreditation (desirable).
• Current Forklift Licence and First Aid Certificate (desirable).
• Current Class C Driver's Licence (essential).

Experience

• Experience operating spray equipment and applying herbicides or agricultural chemicals.
• Experience undertaking grounds maintenance, weeding, mowing or similar outdoor operational activities.
• Experience working in horticulture, agriculture, greenhouse or farming environments is highly regarded.
• Experience operating tractors or agricultural machinery is desirable.
• Experience maintaining accurate records and following safe work procedures.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of chemical handling, spraying techniques and safe application practices.
• Ability to operate and maintain spraying, mowing and other IPM equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately complete records and follow work instructions.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements, PPE and hazard identification.
• Ability to work effectively within a team while managing daily operational priorities.
