Employment Type: 1 year Contract

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inspector of Work (IOW) to oversee the architectural works of a data center construction project in Johor Bahru The role is based on-site and will report to the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team. The ideal candidate will ensure that construction is executed in accordance with architectural drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and inspect architectural works on-site to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate closely with contractors, consultants, and the PMC team on architectural matters
• Identify, report, and follow up on any discrepancies or non-conformities in construction works
• Ensure workmanship, materials, and finishes meet quality expectations
• Maintain accurate daily site reports, records, and photographic documentation
• Attend site meetings, inspections, and technical coordination sessions
• Assist in resolving site issues and propose corrective actions when required
• Ensure that health, safety, and environmental standards are strictly followed on-site

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Architecture or related field
• R egistered with LAM as an Inspector of Work (IOW)
• Minimum 3 years of site supervision experience, preferably on industrial or data center projects
• Strong understanding of architectural detailing, materials, and construction methods
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Able to work independently and handle site challenges effectively
