Brief Role Description

Electrify America’s 10–week Summer Internship Program targets undergraduate students entering their Junior or Senior years who are eager to acquire practical, real-world experience in the automotive industry. This program is designed for high-potential, highly mobile, and self-starter candidates with a strong interest in the automotive industry. Focused on the development of professional and technical competencies as well as on-the-job training, our Summer Internship Program is an excellent opportunity to explore career choices early on. At Electrify America, interns have the chance to make an impact because we challenge them and trust them to perform meaningful work.

Program Information:

  • 10-week Summer Internship Start Date (non-negotiable): June 1, 2026
  • Program Duration: June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026

Qualification requirements

The iOS Developer Intern’s work will depend on the status of the road map during that time. They will be working on one or two of these 1) Display User Plan-specific pricing, allowing users to clearly see if their plan is accepted at a station and how much they will be charged for kWh. 2) State Of Charge display per charger in the mobile app to help waiting users anticipate how long they need to wait for a charger to become available. 3) Display busy times at a site, location, or station, enabling users to plan their trips to charging stations accordingly.

Mobile app development is an exciting technology that allows us to visually see the output of our work taking shape. Swift, an open-source programming language, is gaining popularity and rapidly growing, providing valuable hands-on experience in this role.

Qualifications -

Skills:

  • Intern will gain hands-on experience developing iOS app and understanding the collaborative process between mobile app developers and backend teams to implement features that enhance customer satisfaction. Intern will also be introduced to unit testing in mobile app scenarios, automation frameworks, and development tools such as IDE and simulator.

  • Participate in all agile scrum ceremonies

  • Computer Science
