Position:

IOS Developer

We are looking for an experienced iOS Developer to contribute to the development and enhancement of native iOS applications for a connected smart lock ecosystem. The role involves building secure and scalable mobile experiences involving BLE-enabled devices, cloud integrations, OTA firmware updates, authentication, and smart-home connectivity.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in native iOS development and work closely with firmware, cloud, QA, UX, DevOps, and product teams to deliver reliable mobile solutions.

• Experience: 7–12 Years
• Preferred Location: Ahmedabad
• Other Location May consider: Indore, Pune
• Work Timing: Candidate should be comfortable working in 2nd shift / overlapping hours with global teams as per project requirements

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Development

• Develop and maintain native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit
• Implement scalable, maintainable, and high-performing mobile features
• Follow architecture patterns and coding standards to ensure code quality

Connected Device & IoT Integration

• Work on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication for device onboarding, lock management, and status monitoring
• Support integrations involving OTA firmware updates, Wi-Fi, geofencing, push notifications, and the Matter ecosystem
• Collaborate with firmware/embedded teams for device communication and troubleshooting

Platform & Cloud Integration

• Integrate secure authentication, session management, and backend APIs
• Support cloud-connected features leveraging AWS-based services, real-time updates, and notifications
• Ensure seamless online/offline behaviour and data synchronisation

Engineering Practices

• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, technical discussions, and release activities
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize app performance
• Contribute to unit testing and quality improvements

Required Skills

• Strong experience in native iOS development (Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit)
• Experience with BLE/CoreBluetooth and connected-device ecosystems
• Understanding of MVVM/MVVM-C, Coordinator, or modular architecture
• Experience with REST APIs, authentication, push notifications, and cloud integrations
• Familiarity with Core Data, Keychain, and secure local storage
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Exposure to IoT, smart-home, or connected-device platforms preferred
