In collaboration with the Head of billing, you will be responsible for producing accurate accounting ledgers for the business. Assisting with month end reporting, along with the accurate billing for the businesses, you will be a confident communicator with the ability to deal with internal and external parties as required.
What you will do:
Process and review invoices for clients in accordance with relevant timetables, ensuring all expenses recoverable from clients are correctly valued and that client payments are accurately recorded and allocated on a timely basis.
Oversee the efficiency of invoice generation and delivery processes to clients and the cluster accounting team, whilst monitoring staff time recordings, generating exception reports, and promoting the internal timesheet tool through training and support to the operational team.
Provide comprehensive billing support to the team and liaise regularly with cluster operational teams, attending to queries from clients and internal stakeholders as required.
Prepare and circulate relevant billing recovery reports, assist with the management of trade debtors, and support the identification of outstanding invoices.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of billing processes to reduce the lockup days of the cluster, alongside undertaking any other ad hoc tasks as required.
What you will do:
You have a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant invoicing and accounting experience, with demonstrated knowledge of bookkeeping, billing processes, and basic finance principles including funds management
You have proven experience working within the financial services industry, with a solid understanding of accounting practices and accountability frameworks
You demonstrate advanced technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office, alongside experience with billing and accounting software systems

You have fluent English language skills, both written and oral, essential for effective communication and documentation
