Join our Finance team in Madrid as an Invoicing & Collection Clerk In this role, you will be responsible for managing invoicing and accounts receivable activities, ensuring timely collections, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting efficient accounting operations across the organization. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external providers, and Sulzer entities worldwide to ensure smooth and effective financial processes
Manage the accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate customer invoicing.
Monitor incoming payments and proactively follow up on overdue accounts.
Perform collection activities and support the resolution of outstanding receivables.
Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies or billing issues.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to receivables and collections.
Maintain and update customer and financial master data.
Support intercompany invoice matching activities during month-end closing.
Collaborate with internal departments to identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency.
Coordinate with the external service provider responsible for OTC and RTR activities.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Group FP&A, Treasury, Tax & RE functions, and Sulzer subsidiaries.
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Ideally 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, invoicing, or collection management.
Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
Experience working with SAP FI/CO as a user.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, functions, and pivot tables.
Professional English communication skills (B2/C1 level). German would be a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
Customer-focused approach with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Resilience, adaptability, and a proactive attitude toward change and continuous improvement.
