Job Description

The Invoice to Pay Accountant is responsible for managing the company's accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. This role requires working cross-functionally with Procurement, Finance, and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth end-to-end AP process, strong controls, and excellent vendor experience.

In an environment where AI and RPA tools are commonly used, this role involves working with automated solutions that support the accounts payable process. The role includes checking the results produced by the systems, providing feedback when needed, and helping improve processes over time with guidance and support.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Posting of purchase invoices in accordance with the accounting standards
• Handle exceptions and manually process invoices when automation cannot be applied
• Monitoring payment deadlines and controlling the execution of payments
• Replying to internal and external queries within agreed SLAs
• Performing internal controls
• Ensure compliance with internal controls (including SOX) and audit requirements
• Follow existing process documentation and work instructions
• Use the internal knowledge base and report documentation gaps or needed updates
• Effective communication with clients and colleagues
• Cooperate with internal teams (e.g. Procurement, Accounting, Support) to ensure smooth AP operations
• Identify and report recurring issues or improvement opportunities in AP processes

CORE ELEMENTS RELATED TO THIS ROLE

• Academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Experience as an Invoice to Pay Accountant or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and accounting principles
• Experience working with SAP
• Professional experience in a BPO or Shared Services environment is an advantage
• Fluent English required; additional languages are welcome
• Polish language skills are an asset
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Customer- and service-oriented mindset
• Additional accounting certifications or courses are a plus

Base Salary Range:

zł82,600.00 - zł113,520.00

The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
