The Director of Investor Relations supports the development and execution of communication strategies that effectively convey York Space Systems’ financial performance, long term vision, and market position to the investment community. This role serves as a key liaison between the company, investors, and analysts, ensuring timely, accurate, and insightful information is delivered. The Director partners closely with senior leadership to prepare materials, messaging, and market analyses that guide internal and external financial communications.
This role will be fully on-site in our Greenwood Village, Colorado office.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the implementation of investor relations strategies that communicate the company’s financial results, business initiatives, and competitive positioning to investors and analysts.
• Prepare clear and accurate financial communication materials, ensuring timely responses to investor inquiries and addressing concerns.
• Develop and deliver insights to senior management regarding investor sentiment, market trends, peer activity, and other factors influencing financial performance.
• Support earnings calls, investor conferences, roadshows, and other financial events by preparing presentations, Q&A materials, talking points, and briefing documents.
• Track and summarize relevant market, industry, and regulatory trends; analyze financial and market data to assess potential business impacts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and key external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and cross functional teams to ensure alignment of financial messaging and strategic priorities.
• Other duties as assigned.
This role will not have direct reports.
Qualifications
Required for the Role
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.
• Working knowledge of financial markets, investor relations principles, and applicable regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly.
• Analytical and problem solving skills with experience in financial modeling and data analysis.
• Working knowledge of financial accounting and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to implement effective investor relations strategies.
• Ability to work effectively with senior leaders and cross functional teams.
• Ability to build strong external relationships with investors and analysts.
• US Citizenship
• Willingness to work full-time in office in Greenwood Village, CO.
Preferred for the Role
• Leadership or management experience.
• Knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
• Advanced financial analysis or modeling capabilities.
