Since our founding in 1984, we have applied our insight and experience to organically expand into several asset classes including private equity, credit, venture capital, and real estate. We leverage our shared platform to capture cross-asset class opportunities in strategic areas of focus. With offices on four continents, our global team aligns our interests with those of our investors for lasting impact.

BAIN CAPITAL INVESTOR RELATIONS TEAM

The Bain Capital Investor Relations team includes ~125 professionals focused on business development, client service, diligence, and marketing and is based across offices in Boston, New York, San Francisco, London, Abu Dhabi, Melbourne, Hong Kong, and Tokyo. This team is responsible for raising new funds and accounts, supporting existing investors, collateral production, and reporting across the Firm’s strategies.

BAIN CAPITAL STRATEGIC CAPITAL GROUP

Today, these activities consist primarily of LP coinvestments, GP-led secondaries (e.g., continuation vehicles), minority sales, and liquidity solutions. The core goals for the SCG are to deepen and manage relationships with direct investment and secondary professionals across our investor base and engage with Bain Capital investment teams on alternative capital solutions opportunities. This is a lean, nimble, and entrepreneurial team at Bain Capital.

We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst to serve as a key contributor across the SCG team’s day-to-day operations, investor support functions, and strategic initiatives.

  • Liaise with IT to improve reporting capabilities, dashboards, and data integrity
  • Leverage Excel (including advanced functions/macros where applicable) to manage and analyze data
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to derive insights from proprietary data and improve team efficiency (or build new tools as needed)

Strategic and Operational Initiatives

  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and scalability
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects across the team, supporting strategic priorities as they arise
