Position Summary

The Investment Services Associate II provides licensed administrative and operational support to the Investment Services department and serves as a key resource for advisors with direct client contact, account servicing coordination, and business development follow-up. As an Investment Services Associate, you'll contribute to the overall success of the department through strong operational administration while exercising independent judgment within your authority, licensing, and compliance requirements.

In this position, you will coordinate work and service delivery between advisors, internal departments, and external business partners to support portfolio growth, client satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

Hawaii State FCU is open to both a licensed or unlicensed candidate. This position is located at our HSFCU Headquarters in Downtown Honolulu.

Base Annual Salary Range: $63,000 - $81,060 per year

The posted range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position, with final compensation determined based on commission.

Essential Duties

• Provides administrative and operational support for the department and assigned advisor(s) to ensure efficient operations and achievement of production objectives.
• Serves as a primary point of contact for members on routine service matters, seminar participation, and ongoing relationship support. Gathers appropriate information, determines next steps, and coordinates timely resolution within licensing and compliance guidelines.
• Coordinates and schedules meetings, appointments, account reviews, and other business development activities for both advisors and members.
• Assists members and prospects with investment account servicing processes, forms and documentation follow-up.
• Coordinates with advisors, compliance, OSJ, operations, and product partners to monitor and complete supervisory items, advertising approvals, documentation requirements, and service issues.
• Prepares, reviews, and maintains pre-commission, summary, production, pipeline, and other operational reports used for advisor support and management oversight.

Licensed individuals will also:

• Conduct information gathering to assist members and prospects with financial planning, account maintenance, and product implementation.
• Opens new accounts for clients and performs securities transactions.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

• 3+ years of professional work experience in investment services, brokerage support, sales, financial services, or another related field.
• Knowledge of investment products, advisory services, securities processing, and insurance product support.
• Knowledge of investment operations, account servicing workflows, and documentation requirements.
• Knowledge of applicable compliance, supervisory, and client service standards for licensed activity.
• Bachelor's degree OR equivalent combination of education and related experience.

Licensed candidates should possess:

• FINRA Series 6/7 AND either a Series 66 or (Series 63 and 65),
• A current State of Hawaii insurance license.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• Prior experience supporting an advisor practice, including client interaction and service coordination.
• Proficiency with business software, CRM tools, reporting systems..
