Job Description

You will be a key part of the Wealth Management Solutions Brokerage Product Development Team, supporting investment platform initiatives through product development.

As an Investment Product Specialist in the Brokerage Investment Product Development Team, you support global Product teams in delivering investment product solutions to the Private Bank. You will also be involved in participation in key strategic initiatives that drive innovation and increased efficiency across our global Wealth business. You will be subject matter expertise to internal business partners on various investment platforms. These platforms offer a diverse suite of fee-based solutions, including single- and multi asset class portfolios as well as brokerage offerings.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Product Development related activities for various investment platform initiatives, program status tracking, communication to executive stakeholders and ownership of periodic governance and reporting processes.

  • Document current and strategic operating model.

  • Maintain and proactively recommend enhancements to ongoing product MIS
  • Identify, on-board and maintain vendors across trading businesses.
  • Provide client onboarding support for Private Bank product offerings.
  • Develop and manage project plans though strategy development, project definition, solution development, agreement, and implementation.
  • Collaborate across the diverse perspectives of Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Investment teams to deliver product management as well as regulatory initiatives.
  • Drive operational and automation efficiency

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 5+ years of experience within financial services, in Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Asset Management
  • Excellent analytical skills, communications and presentation skills.
  • Strong team player with ability to work with teams at all levels.
  • Familiarity with trading products including Equities, Derivatives, Fixed Income and FX
  • Strong systems, operational and control analysis skills.
  • Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines organise and prioritise a high-volume, multi-asset book of work.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office applications and ability to code (Alteryx and python)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Proactive self-starter with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Exceptional data analysis/quantitative/technical aptitude with ability to quickly learn new processes, and datasets
  • Experience with tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, Python-- highly desirable.
  • Understanding of market trading conventions, settlement procedures, systems, and protocol in a wide variety of asset classes preferred.
  • Experience in regulatory reporting, process reengineering or automation projects in a financial services context is strongly preferred.
