- Asset-Liability Management and Liability-Driven Investment Support
- Analyse cash flows, duration, key-rate duration, liquidity and reinvestment risk to identify material asset-liability mismatches.
- Maintain reliable ALM diagnostics and supporting data to inform potential LDI actions.
- Validate inputs with Actuarial, Finance and Risk, resolve data issues and clearly document material limitations or implementation constraints.
- Investment Performance and Asset Manager Monitoring
- Deliver accurate performance, risk and mandate-monitoring reports for affiliated and third-party asset managers.
- Assess performance against approved benchmarks and objectives using established attribution and reporting methodologies and identify the principal drivers of results.
- Monitor mandate compliance, style drift, concentration, liquidity, underperformance and execution quality, and escalate material concerns promptly.
- Support due diligence, manager reviews, mandate changes and funding decisions with clear analysis, complete records and disciplined follow-through on agreed actions.

- Evaluate new or enhanced insurance propositions against defined return, income, liquidity, ALM, capital, accounting, operational and risk considerations using approved assumptions and templates.
- Deliver clear market research, fund documentation and approval materials that support sound product and investment decisions.
- Coordinate investment deliverables for launch readiness and establish effective post-launch monitoring.
- Alternative Investments Programme Support
- Evaluate approved alternative investment opportunities against defined criteria, including strategy, track record, fees, valuation, liquidity, legal structure, concentration, cash-flow profile and key risks.
- Maintain accurate commitment, pacing, funding, valuation and post-investment monitoring schedules to support effective portfolio oversight.
- Identify and escalate material performance, valuation, liquidity or governance exceptions promptly.
- Derivatives and Hedging Programme Support
- Analyse and monitor approved hedging transactions and programmes, including hedge effectiveness, counterparty exposure, collateral, liquidity and basis risk.
