The Fundamental Equities team manages a concentrated, high-conviction, low-turnover portfolio with quality growth characteristics. We focus on companies with high barriers to entry and sustainable competitive advantages that benefit from structural growth trends and can adapt to and capitalise on a rapidly changing market environment.
As a technology sector Investment Manager, you will perform fundamental research on companies, including creating research notes and financial models, whilst proactively seeking out new investments and managing a watch list of stocks. The role will be responsible for analysing and recommending investments in the semiconductor and technology hardware sectors. The team also assists colleagues across Railpen’s other strategies, including alternatives, quantitative equities, and real assets.
The successful candidate will be somebody who can independently deliver high-quality analysis, communicate their research effectively, and work collaboratively. You will have experience of analysing the global technology sector within equity research on the sell side or buy side. We are looking for someone with technology sector experience who has a passion for financial markets and investing.
You will have an open, collaborative and inquisitive approach to finding solutions. We are looking for someone who can deliver high quality research and generate ideas. Effective communication skills are key for this role, along with the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships both internally and externally ensuring that different perspectives are always valued.
