The Investment Sales & Distribution Lead operates at the forefront of the Bank’s client offering, shaping the strategic direction and commercial success of the investment platform in close partnership with the Chief Investment Office.

The role is responsible for driving the distribution strategy across a comprehensive range of investment solutions—including Advisory, Discretionary Portfolio Management, Alternatives, Funds, and Structured Products—ensuring the offering remains highly competitive, relevant, and aligned with evolving client needs. It plays a central role in translating investment capabilities into compelling client propositions that support asset growth, client acquisition, and revenue generation.

Working closely with senior commercial stakeholders, the role actively supports client engagement by ensuring clear articulation of investment strategies, consistency of messaging, and high standards of sales effectiveness. It contributes to positioning the Bank as a trusted partner by delivering solutions that combine strong performance potential with transparency and discipline.

At the same time, the role ensures that commercial ambitions are underpinned by a robust governance framework, maintaining full alignment with Swiss regulatory standards and internal risk controls. By bridging Investments, Risk, Compliance, and Commercial teams, it enables the delivery of innovative, well-structured, and compliant investment solutions to clients.

Overall, the position plays a key leadership role in enhancing the Bank’s investment value proposition, strengthening client relationships, and driving sustainable growth across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Governance & Platform Enablement

  • Drive the Product Committee (CLC) agenda, ensuring efficient decision-making aligned with client needs and commercial priorities

  • Ensure high-quality and timely product approval processes, enabling the launch of relevant and competitive investment solutions

  • Oversee and continuously optimize the product inventory and review cycle, ensuring a differentiated and fit-for-purpose offering

  • Ensure effective implementation of governance decisions across the platform

  • Maintain robust documentation standards in line with Swiss regulatory requirements (FINMA / FinSA) while supporting business agility

2. Investment Committee & House View Alignment

  • Coordinate the Investment Committee, ensuring clear articulation and communication of the house view

  • Ensure consistency between asset allocation decisions and client portfolio implementation

  • Track key decisions and follow-ups to ensure timely execution and market relevance

  • Strengthen alignment between investment strategy and product positioning

3. Distribution Oversight & Commercial Effectiveness

  • Drive alignment between the approved product universe and client portfolios, enhancing relevance and client outcomes

  • Monitor and optimize platform penetration, concentration trends, and revenue contribution

  • Identify opportunities to improve product positioning across client segments

  • Enhance distribution discipline and advisory quality across Advisory, AIS, DPM and Alternatives

  • Lead structured and impactful communication to front office teams (focus lists, rating changes, investment themes)

4. Regulatory & Risk Partnership

  • Act as a strategic partner to Compliance and Risk, ensuring governance frameworks support both regulatory requirements and business growth

  • Ensure effective integration of the Bank’s suitability framework within distribution and advisory processes

  • Anticipate and translate regulatory developments into practical business solutions

  • Support the identification and management of conflicts of interest, ensuring transparency and client protection

5. Business Intelligence & Strategic Insights

  • Analyze revenue drivers and product performance to support commercial decision-making

  • Monitor platform penetration and client adoption trends across Portfolio Advisory, AIS, DPM, and Alternatives

  • Generate actionable insights to enhance product offering and distribution effectiveness

  • Prepare high-impact management reporting for CIO and EXCO to support strategic steering

6. Cross-Border & Global Platform Alignment

  • Collaborate with Global CIO Office and Fund Selection teams to leverage global expertise and capabilities

  • Ensure effective alignment between global frameworks and Swiss regulatory requirements

  • Contribute to the scalability and consistency of the investment platform across jurisdictions

Profile

  • Al least 7 years of relevant professional experience

  • CWMA Certification is a plus.

  • Structured and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic, cross-functional environment

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills

  • Sound judgment with the ability to balance risk, governance, and commercial objectives

  • Commercially minded, with a focus on enhancing client outcomes and business impact

  • Fluent English and Spanish a must. Portuguese and French a plus.
