Our client is a leading independent asset management group operating a Southeast Asian private equity platform with a focus on Thailand. They are, at heart, value investors. Their team is headquartered in Bangkok, and their partners globally.

We are seeking a high-performing Investment Director to join our clients team in Thailand. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the private equity and investments industry, with at least 8 years of experience.

As a key member of their team, you will play a pivotal role in managing and growing their investment portfolio, identifying new investment opportunities, and driving strategic initiatives. This role requires a local Thai professional who is well-versed in the Thai market and investment landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage investment activities, including sourcing, evaluating, and executing investment opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with investors, stakeholders, and industry partners.
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the private equity and investment sectors.
• Oversee the due diligence process for potential investments, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and valuation.
• Develop and implement investment strategies to maximize returns and achieve long-term growth.
• Monitor and manage the performance of the investment portfolio, providing regular updates and reports to senior management and investors.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to ensure effective execution of investment transactions.
• Stay updated on regulatory and market developments in Thailand and internationally, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 8 years experience in the private equity and investments industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• An MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
• Proven track record of successful investment management and deal execution.
• Strong financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence skills.
• Excellent knowledge of the Thai investment landscape and regulatory environment.
• Exceptional relationship-building and networking abilities.
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Must be a local Thai professional with fluency in Thai and English.
