/OBJECTIVE

The Wax position is responsible for duplicating metal sculptures for Chrome Hearts manufactured jewelry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Tree Assembly & Preparation

• Assemble multiple wax patterns onto central wax runners to form tree assemblies, ensuring secure and accurate attachment.
• Inspect wax patterns for quality compliance prior to assembly.
• Accurately weigh and record wax components to meet production standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve tree-up and mold preparation processes.

Inspection & Testing

• Conductthoroughinspectionsofmetalcastingstoverify dimensions,surfacefinish,andoverall quality.
• Performnon-destructivetesting(NDT)techniquestodetectdefectsinfinished goods.
• Useprecisionmeasuringtoolstoensurecompliancewithtechnical specifications

Documentation& Reporting

• Maintainaccuraterecordsofinspections,tests,andquality results.
• Preparedetailedreportsonqualitytrends,non-conformities,andrecommendcorrective actions.
• Collaboratewithteamstoresolveissuesandimplement improvements.

Process Improvement & Compliance

• Participateinrootcauseanalysisandassistwithenhancingqualitycontrol procedures.
• Supportinternalandexternalauditswithaccurate documentation.
• Ensuresafetyandregulatorycompliancethroughoutthequalitycontrol process.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Some experience in jewelry production (wax injecting) preferred
• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields preferred
• Familiarity with wax injection and/or casting tools and equipment preferred
• Familiaritywithqualitymanagementsystemsandtoolsisa plus.
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to work well in teams
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Strongteamplayerwithexcellentcommunication skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time, some sitting, some walking. Employees will be expected to repeat much of the physical motions throughout the shift that may include the use of their feet, legs, arms, wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Employees will operate a variety of equipment and hand tools in a repetitive manner requiring a high degree of manual dexterity and close visual attention. The employee must be able to carry and/or lift up to 50 lbs if needed.
