DNB Carnegie is the leading investment bank and wealth manager in the Nordics. With unmatched strength across products, sectors, and geographies, we deliver tailored financial solutions in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and financial advisory services by leveraging our deep market knowledge and expansive international reach. With a strong presence in Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark, and international offices in London, New York, and Singapore, we are uniquely positioned to connect Nordic opportunities with global capital.
DNB Carnegie offers an internship programme on a yearly basis with good prospects for full-time employment. The internship programme runs over multiple periods of the year at the Helsinki office. You will have the opportunity to become an integral part of the Finnish Investment Banking team for approximately 3-5 months. The application periods for 2027 internship programmes are open, with the deadline for applications on August 30th. Interviews will be held on a rolling basis, so remember to apply at your earliest convenience.
1 Spring Starting tentatively January 2027
2 Summer Starting tentatively May-June 2027
3 Autumn Starting tentatively September 2027
The internship programme provides you with valuable opportunities to network while gaining industrial experience by working with senior team members on diverse projects. You will also be expected to work independently on given tasks to boost your personal development. Early on in the internship, you will have the opportunity to engage in mergers and acquisitions (private and public M&A) as well as initial public offerings (IPOs) and other capital market transactions (including both ECM and DCM transactions). You will work in a fast-paced environment where curiosity, ambition and diversity are regarded as enriching qualities as well as necessities to achieve superior results.
We are looking for applicants that have, as of the start date of the internship, finished at least two years of higher education in finance, accounting, economics, industrial engineering and management, or other relevant subjects while maintaining a strong academic track record. Previous experience from the financial services industry is considered an advantage, but not a requirement. In addition, we value responsible team-players with a genuine interest to learn more about DNB Carnegie and investment banking.
