
Duties: Participate in the "full cycle" of transaction execution including preparing marketing materials, reviewing, and formulating financial analyses, presenting both internally and externally to clients, and driving day-to-day transaction execution. Developing content for strategic meetings with clients regarding ECM and capital markets transactions. Interacting with senior team members and client management teams daily to execute ECM transactions and discuss strategic alternatives. Defining, guiding, and reviewing detailed valuation analysis, including DCF, trading comparables, transaction comparables and LBO analyses. Defining, guiding, and reviewing detailed combination and other financial analyses in the context of pitch situations or M&A transactions. Developing and maintaining active dialogue with buyside investor clients. Providing leadership, mentorship, and supervision to Associates and Analysts. Participating in graduate recruiting.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field of study. plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as Investment Banking Equity Capital Markets, Corporate and Investment Bank Analyst, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience in the following: Originating, executing issuing, and syndicating equity and equity-linked transactions, including IPOs, follow-ons, private placements, and convertibles, with primary focus on Digital Assets, blockchain-enable companies, FinTech, and financial institutions; Analyzing IPO pricing through order book construction, forecast investor demand, model allocations, and assess oversubscription and price sensitivity; analyzing equity market risk and volatility and market impact on transaction timing and pricing; Applying US equity capital markets regulatory frameworks, including SEC registration, FINRA rules, Reg M stabilization, and compliance for FinTech and Digital Asset issuers; analyzing Digital Asset and Blockchain enabled business models, including crypto exchanges, custodians, financial infrastructure providers, and payments platforms, within the context of public equity markets; Leveraging Bloomberg, FactSet, Dealogic, CMG, Refinitiv, and PitchBook to extract market data, benchmark peers, target investors, analyze issuances, and track league tables; Developing complex financial models and performing company valuations using DCF, transaction comparables, and trading comparables in Excel, alongside shareholder analyses and execution timelines; integrating and leveraging large language model LLM platforms for automating market research, drafting transaction materials, and enhancing data analysis workflows; Controlling the lifecycle of investment transactions using deal and operational transaction platforms including P1.
Job Location: 270 Park Ave., New York, NY 10179. This position requires up to 10% domestic and 5% international travel required to JPMC sites.
Full-Time. Salary: $225,000 - $225,000 per year.
