Through its Investment Banking practice, Bryan, Garnier & Co has become a leader in advising European growth companies on strategic finance transactions such as M&A (strategic acquisitions & LBOs), ECM (Follow-ons, IPOs & Public Takeover) and Private Placements. In 2021, we have completed more than 70 transactions for a cumulated deal value of €3.5bn.

Private Placements

Fund raising for European growth companies has been a key focus of Bryan, Garnier & Co since 1996. The firm was one of the pioneers in the European market in the late 90s and has remained one of the leading investment banks in Europe in the domain. Over the past 25 years, Bryan Garnier led more than 150 late-stage private placements in the technology, healthcare and sustainability sectors ranging from €20m to €250m in size.

Bryan, Garnier & Co’s Private Growth Capital Solutions expertise covers a variety of situations, from equity to quasi-equity, for both private and public companies. (Series B, C pre-IPO, Direct Listings and PIPEs).

The firm has a unique track record in leading strategic private placements as part of larger financing offerings as recently done in the €180m follow-on capital for McPhy Energy, the €130m IPO of HDF, and the €125m IPO of Waga. The team has raised €2bn since 2015 with an average capital raise of €50m over the past 24 months. A total of 10 deals in 2023 with a total of ~€1bn raised.
