
Our client, a leading middle market global investment bank, is actively seeking an Analyst for its Consumer team. The group advises clients across retail, consumer products, food & beverage, beauty, wellness, and e-commerce, and is recognized for its deep sector expertise, long-standing relationships with corporate clients, founders, entrepreneurs, and private equity sponsors, as well as its strong execution track record across strategic advisory and transaction services.
The Analyst will work closely with senior bankers across all aspects of M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory assignments. This role offers significant exposure to live transactions and provides the opportunity to develop core technical and execution skills while working alongside experienced investment banking professionals.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and operating models; preparing pitch books, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, and other client materials; conducting industry, market, and company research; supporting due diligence processes and transaction execution; coordinating data rooms and buyer/investor outreach; and assisting senior team members with the execution of strategic advisory assignments. Analysts are also expected to manage multiple workstreams efficiently while maintaining exceptional attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of relevant investment banking experience, preferably within consumer, retail, or broader industry coverage groups. Candidates should possess strong financial modeling and valuation skills, including experience with DCF, comparable company, precedent transaction, and LBO analyses, as well as excellent analytical and quantitative abilities.
Exceptional attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines are essential. A demonstrated interest in consumer trends and markets, combined with a proactive, team-oriented attitude and strong work ethic, is highly preferred. Bachelor's degree required.
