We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Investment Analyst to support investment and treasury activities across Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar (CLM). This role plays a key part in evaluating investment opportunities, monitoring portfolio performance, supporting investment governance, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
Support the Investment Manager in conducting financial due diligence, credit assessments, bond pricing, equity valuations, and preparing investment proposals.
Gather information from investment counterparties and collaborate with the CLM Compliance Team to conduct sanctions screening and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC) due diligence.
Assist with investment execution, cash movements, cash flow reporting, and cash flow forecasting for Cambodia.
Assist in monitoring and reconciling repayments received from investment counterparties across CLM.
Calculate investment portfolio performance metrics for CLM, including yield, duration, portfolio concentration, and credit limit utilization.
Support the preparation of investment performance reports for the CLM Investment Committee (IC) on a quarterly basis and on an ad hoc basis when required.
Support the annual credit review of all counterparties and the quarterly monitoring of counterparties' financial covenants across CLM.
Assist in conducting annual risk management and compliance exercises for CLM.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in investment analysis, financial due diligence, corporate finance, investment banking, accounting, or related fields. Experience within the insurance or financial services industry is an advantage.
Strong understanding of financial statement analysis and business valuation techniques.
Knowledge of capital markets, credit analysis, and investment portfolio management.
Familiarity with valuation and forecasting methodologies such as DCF, portfolio construction, pricing models, and risk-return measures.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience with market intelligence platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Refinitiv) is an advantage.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Effectively and efficiently execute investment cases within the due course.
Capability in thinking critically and identifying appropriate solutions.
