AIM is seeking an Investment Associate to join the team as a key contributor supporting fund platform activities, strategic initiatives and corporate analysis and presentations. This role provides broad exposure to all aspects of AIM’s investment work, including strategic projects, internal operations, investor presentations, management presentations and cross‑team strategic projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, an excellent communicator, and comfortable working across diverse stakeholders in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment. This is a full‑time position with growth opportunities for high performers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze data across funds, fund performance and overall investment platform analysis. Analyze corporate performance metrics across funds to support strategic planning.
  • Market and sector research, financial analysis, and preparing presentations.
  • Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights, creating dashboards, presentations, and briefing notes.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly portfolio analytics, dashboards, and reporting packages for senior leadership or board committees. .
  • Support investor‑facing materials (portfolio summaries, performance narratives, risk updates).
  • Flag unusual patterns or anomalies for review.
  • Monitor macroeconomic trends, market events, regulatory changes, and industry developments that impact the fund’s portfolio.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team on strategic initiatives, including development of the AIM strategy by gathering inputs, synthesizing information, and creating high‑quality decks and presentations.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve operational processes, communications, reporting, and cross‑team coordination.
  • Support strategies for effective communication, knowledge sharing, and stakeholder engagement across the AIM team.
  • Provide operational and analytical support to AIM’s President, the Chief Investment Officer, and Deputy Chief Investment Officer.
  • Support the team in the analysis, research and presentations for new investment entity in Singapore, and for likely new fintech, impact investment vehicle in East Asia & Pacific.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Master´s degree preferred.
  • 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in investment management, impact investing, operations, or project management role.
  • Strong working knowledge of data gathering and analysis withing investing.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality work with limited guidance.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking abilities; proven ability to rapidly analyze diverse information.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to develop compelling presentations and reports.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • High degree of discretion, judgment, and political acumen when working with sensitive information and high‑level internal and external partners.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to adapt, innovate, and thrive in a dynamic, mission‑driven environment.
  • Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and proactively.

Travel Requirement:

  • There may be some travel required (less than 10%).

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $70K- $90K
  • The above salary range serves as a general guideline. Accion considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, training, skills, location, current market conditions as well as internal pay alignment.
  • AIM provides a total compensation package, including base salary, discretionary merit-based bonus, and a variety of benefits including health insurance (90% employer funded), life and disability insurance, retirement plans (up to 6% employer match), paid holidays and paid time-off for vacation plus personal days as well as sick days.
