Job Description

The Investment Analyst, AI Specialist role sits within the Asset Management Group (AMG) in the North America Treasury organization at CTC in Auburn Hills. AMG oversees the company’s retirement assets—including defined benefit pension plans and 401(k) savings plans—totaling approximately $40 billion globally across public equities, fixed income, hedge funds, and private markets (e.g., private equity, venture capital, private credit, and real assets). This position supports both the Investments and Operations teams by advancing AI initiatives and contributing to day-to-day asset management activities. Additionally, this opportunity will allow the candidate to acquire essential skills pertaining to investing in financial markets.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead or support AI (Artificial Intelligence) initiatives identified by AMG leadership, spanning both investment and operational workflows.
  • Monitor evolving AI capabilities and market trends, sharing insights with the AMG team and proposing practical use cases.
  • Partner with Stellantis IT and/or Security to evaluate, enable, and govern the use of new AI tools.
  • Assist with data management & pipelines: sourcing data (custodians / managers / internal), cleaning, maintaining datasets, and basic data QA controls.
  • Support the Investments team as needed, including qualitative and quantitative investment manager research and processing manager communications (e.g., capital calls and legal document amendments).
  • Assist the Operations team as needed, including preparing daily/monthly/quarterly reports, reconciling investment performance, and supporting investment committee meeting preparation.
  • Contribute to team discussions on investment manager recommendations and overall portfolio positioning.
  • Perform additional analyses and special projects, as assigned by AMG management.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, with a demonstrated drive to learn and apply AI.
  • Interest in financial markets and enthusiasm for conducting investment research.
