We have a great career opportunity for an Investment Analyst in a leading Ukrainian renewable energy company with a head office in Kyiv.

With the primary focus on providing dependable clean energy from sustainable renewable sources, our Partner's team operates from the offices in Kyiv, London and Odesa, and its expertise spans the management of solar and wind power plants, as well as development and construction of renewable energy projects, in addition to the robust commercial sales of renewable energy on the electricity market. Currently, the Company's total capacity of solar and wind projects in its ownership and operation is 636 MW, and the Company is actively expanding its presence in the Ukrainian market. Committed to supporting a "green" rebuilding, our Partner actively develops over 200 MW of wind & storage projects and aims to expand to other renewable energy technologies. As strong advocates for a low-carbon and sustainable future, the company strives to make a lasting positive impact on the environment and communities.

To support the Company's active growth, we are looking for a skilled Investment Analyst to lead complex financial modeling for renewable energy assets (Wind, Solar, BESS) and conduct deep commercial analysis of new power market opportunities (cPPAs, energy trading, hedging) to drive strategic investment decision-making.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the financial model of the Company for investors and financial institutions;
• Develop financial models of expansion projects / new products;
• Perform pre-investment and post-investment analysis of the new / existing projects within the Company's portfolio;
• Be actively involved in research of new technologies / new commercial products as a part of Business Development team;
• Analyze and simulate recent energy market changes and their impact on the Company's existing business and new projects;
• Be actively involved in design and development of new projects (Wind, BESS) and new commercial products (cPPAs, price hedging, trading, etc.).

Qualifications and professional experience:

Mandatory

• 3-5+ years of experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, project finance, M&A, infrastructure investments, or renewable energy development;
• Advanced financial modeling skills in Excel, including ability to build and maintain integrated corporate and project finance models from scratch;
• Strong understanding of valuation methodologies, including DCF, NPV, IRR, sensitivity analysis, scenario modeling, and investment decision-making frameworks;
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to assess the impact of market and commercial changes on project economics;
• Professional English proficiency, including preparation of investment materials, presentations, and communication with international stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience in renewable energy, power markets, energy trading, BESS, wind, solar, or other energy infrastructure sectors;
• Understanding of electricity market fundamentals, including day-ahead, balancing, ancillary services, PPAs/cPPAs, and hedging products;
• Experience developing financial models for renewable energy projects, particularly wind, solar, and battery storage projects;
• Experience researching and assessing emerging technologies and new business models, particularly in energy transition, flexibility, storage, and decarbonization.
