Investment Company

Our client is a prominent advisory firm in Kazakhstan, serving top local and international clients in the areas of M&A and portfolio management.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in M&A and Debt Advisory transactions throughout the entire process, including buy-side, sell-side, joint ventures, venture capital, and private equity investments.
• Develop and analyze financial models.
• Conduct business valuations, financial analyses, comparative studies, and benchmarking exercises.
• Create presentations, teasers, information memoranda, and analytical reports for clients.
• Perform market research, formulate strategies, and carry out competitive analysis.
• Engage in negotiations and foster client relationships during all stages of the deal.
• Collaborate closely with the Investment Director and partners to achieve strategic goals.

Requirements:

• A degree in finance or economics from a reputable university; CFA certification is a plus.
• 1-4 years of relevant experience in M&A, corporate finance, and valuation at investment banks, internal M&A teams, private equity or venture capital firms, or Big 4 firms.
• Proven skills in financial modeling and business valuation.
• Strong technical proficiency in financial modeling and business evaluation (expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases).
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.
• Capacity to excel in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English and Russian is mandatory; knowledge of Kazakh is an advantage.
• International experience is considered a plus.
