Job Description

The Analyst job is to break down the Investments fundamentals then analyze its financial position in effort to interpret the investments financial dynamics and components in comparison to the markets economic trends and industry conditions in a fashion that can provide an insight position for decision makers going forward.

The analysts financial conclusions will provide the investment managers with sufficient knowledge and financial tools to facilitate more fundamental investment plans based on financial indicators supported by market trends. The analyst must present his analysis using spreadsheets, graphs and summarize the findings to the management and other involved team members.

  • Main Responsibilities:

1. Monitors and analyzes financial information to forecast business, industry, and economic conditions, for use in making investment decisions: Gathers and analyzes company financial statements, industry, and investment cash flow, regulatory and economic information, to present financial predictions.
2. Analyzes data concerning price, yield, stability, and future trends of investments.
3. Ability to compare financial statements and cash flow to market trends.
4. Summarizes data describing current and long-term trends and economic influences pertinent to investments.
5. Prepare presentation using graphs and charts to demonstrate the market trend.
6. Prepares Memorandum write up for Investment Committee and Senior Management.
7. Responsible for managing 1-4 portfolios.
8. Communicates with 3rd party and liaising with 3rd party service providers
9. Provides data about buying and selling investment positions to the company
10. Understands investment tools such as Real Estate, Private Equity, Sukuk, commodity, or portfolio management.
11. Participation in project work where applicable.

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting. Masters degree is preferable.
  • Experience: 4-6 years of related experience in financial services /investment sector.
