The Lane County District Attorney’s Office is seeking an experienced, sworn law enforcement professional to conduct complex criminal investigations and support Deputy District Attorneys throughout case preparation and trial.
This position conducts original and follow-up investigations involving matters such as public corruption and major fraud; interviews witnesses and suspects; gathers and analyzes evidence; prepares search warrant materials and investigative reports; serves subpoenas and arrest warrants; and makes arrests when necessary. The investigator also works closely with attorneys and law enforcement partners to assess cases, identify additional investigative needs, prepare exhibits and witnesses, and ensure evidence is thoroughly documented and ready for presentation in court or before a grand jury.
The successful candidate will bring sound judgment, strong investigative and analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly while handling sensitive and potentially high-profile cases with integrity and professionalism.
Divisions in the District Attorney's Office include Criminal, Family Law (Child Support Enforcement). Juvenile; Death Investigations, and Victim Services.
