Job Description

About Us

At Transgrid, our work improves the lives of millions – from lighting up sports fields, schools and homes, to powering the wheels of commerce and everything else in between. Now it’s your turn to make it happen.

This is an exciting time in the energy industry with the transition to renewable energy. Recent government policy documents outline plans to facilitate increasing transmission interconnection between states and development of renewable energy zones.

The Opportunity

In your new role, you’ll take ownership of supporting Lumea’s warehouse and inventory operations from Eastern Creek, ensuring the smooth movement, accuracy and availability of materials across multiple sites. You’ll play a critical part in enabling project and field delivery by keeping stock visible, accessible and well-managed.

Blending hands-on warehouse work with system coordination, you’ll manage inventory transactions, support material demand planning and partner closely with stakeholders to keep operations running efficiently.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working both on the floor and in the data, and wants to grow their capability in a complex, asset-driven environment.

About You

  • Proven experience in warehouse, inventory or logistics operations
  • Familiarity with Maximo or similar asset/inventory management systems
  • Forklift licence and willingness to work in a hands-on environment
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and stock integrity
  • Ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders and support material demand across multiple sites

About Transgrid

We’ve ensured the smooth operation of over 11,517 km of high-voltage transmission lines and 136 substations and switching stations across NSW and the ACT, with interconnections to QLD and VIC.

Our most crucial work is leading the transition to Australia’s clean energy future. The traditional coal system that served our country for decades is nearing the end of its life, to be replaced by wind and solar generation.

We’re making the right decisions now to prepare for the opportunities and challenges ahead – a changing climate, population growth and technology innovation.

As we lead the way towards a more resilient future, we’re working closely with our customers and communities to make sure no one is left behind.

Wherever you are in NSW or the ACT, you can be confident in the reliable, affordable and sustainable electricity we transmit as we make a better power system for generations to come.
