Performs tasks related to shop inventory for supplies, materials, equipment and vehicles, and maintenance of gasoline or diesel driven hand tools within the guidelines of departmental standards and procedures, verbal instructions, and manufacturers’ guidance. Provides grounds maintenance, cleans and maintains vehicles, equipment, containers, and the shop area. Reports to the Assistant Director AED Maintenance or Designee and works with co-workers, employees, and the public to provide maintenance services.

Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D.
Experience: Two (2) years’ experience in a similar position or related to inventory management.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Intermittent sitting, standing, stooping, crouching, walking, lifting of light and heavy objects, and using tools and equipment that require a high degree of manual dexterity. Work is performed outdoors with exposure to noise, inclement weather, dirt, grease, dust, and machinery with moving parts requiring use of protective devices.
Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work.
