So, what does a typical day look like? What does it take to succeed?· Utilizing the Store Inventory Management (SIM) system, conducting research to resolve errors related to store receipts, transfers in/out, replenishment, inventory adjustments, shipment confirmations, returns to vendor/warehouse, etc· Inspects, replenishes products to include, but not limited to reviewing shelf Not-in-Stock (NIS) for Retail and Services· Take inventory, execution and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Perpetual Inventory Management, Planogram Integrity and Price Verification and Label Integrity · Lifting and handling moderate to heavy objects up to 40 lbs. · Working both inside and outside in all types of weather conditionsThe Qualifiers:· A total of two years of experience or two year degree· One year of experience in administrative, professional, investigative or other responsible work which enabled the applicant to gain a general knowledge in retail or merchandising operations functioning within an automated system environment.· One year of experience which provided a knowledge of retail store operations processes and familiarity with inventory control methods in a computerized environment; knowledge of computer systems and ability to access screens and print documents.The Benefits begin DAY ONE!We know you work hard, and cultivate the very best solutions for your family – and that’s why we offer a competitive federal salary & comprehensive benefit plan.o Benefits begin on DAY ONEü Medical/Vision & Dentalü 401(k) & Pension Planü Life Insuranceü Sick and annual leave accrualsü Continuity of Employment Programs for Military Spousesü Tax Free shopping, worldwide, at any Navy Exchange locationü Access to on-base amenities, including lodging, bowling, gym, movie theaters, & much more (where available)!ü Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)**Includes LifeMart Discount Savings Program Job Summary: Assists with reviewing shelf Not-in-Stock NIS for Retail and Services businesses and ensuring adherence to communication strategy for NIS merchandise provides assistance in the execution and compliance with Standard Operating Procedures SOPs for Perpetual Inventory Management Planogram Integrity and Price Verification and Label Integrity.Duties and Responsibilities:- Works under the general supervision of a Replenishment Manager or designated supervisor who outlines work objectives and priorities and provides guidance and instructions on new procedures.- Utilizing the Store Inventory Management SIM system conducts research to resolve errors related to store system processes to include but not limited to receipts transfers in out replenishment inventory adjustments shipment confirmations BOLs returns to vendor warehouse etc.- Completed work is reviewed for attainment of objectives technical accuracy and ability to effectively communicate and correct problems.- Assists with the execution and compliance with the standards defined in the Perpetual Inventory Management SOP.- Assists with the execution and compliance with the standards defined in the Planogram Integrity SOP. – Assists with the execution and compliance with the standards defined in the Price Verification and Label Integrity SOP.- Assists with the execution of periodic and year-end inventories assists with year-end inventory reconciliation.- Performs other related duties as assigned

A total of 2 years of experience consisting of the following:GENERAL EXPERIENCE: 1 year experience in administrative, professional, investigative or other responsible work which enabled the applicant to gain a general knowledge in retail or merchandising operations functioning within an automated system environment.ANDSPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:1 year of experience which provided a knowledge of retail store operations processes and familiarity with inventory control methods in a computerized environment; knowledge of computer systems and ability to access screens and print documents.ORSUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCEOne half year of academic study above the high school level may be substituted for each 6 months of 1 year general and 1 year specialized experience.
