Join the Glass Outlet Team as an Inventory Supervisor

Glass Outlet is recognised Australia-wide as a leading wholesale supplier of glass, aluminium fencing, balustrading, aluminium screening, shower screens and associated products.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Inventory Supervisor to support our Warehouse Manager in leading the inventory team and ensuring the smooth, accurate and safe movement of stock throughout the warehouse.

Working as part of a supportive and friendly team, your responsibilities will include:

• Delegating daily tasks across the inventory team and assisting with warehouse duties as required
• Overseeing incoming goods from local and international suppliers, as well as internal stock transfers
• Identifying and promptly reporting stock discrepancies or damaged goods
• Coordinating stock movements between overflow storage and picking locations while maintaining appropriate stock rotation
• Monitoring picking and dispatch processes to ensure accuracy and procedural compliance
• Coordinating regular cycle counts to maintain stock integrity and identify system or picking issues
• Supporting the Warehouse Manager with staff performance, team development, recruitment, induction and rostering
• Leading team meetings and contributing to daily operational planning
• Identifying opportunities to improve inventory processes and warehouse efficiency
• Ensuring team members comply with company policies, procedures and safety requirements
• Maintaining high standards of customer service, warehouse presentation and cleanliness
• Supporting after-hours site management when required
• Completing general warehouse duties as operational needs require

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience in inventory, warehouse operations or a similar supervisory role
• Demonstrated experience leading, supporting and motivating team members
• A current Australian manual driver’s licence
• A current forklift licence
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to stock accuracy
• Sound problem-solving skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
• The ability to work effectively across warehouse and office teams
• A strong commitment to workplace safety, Chain of Responsibility requirements and operational standards
• The physical fitness required to perform the duties of the position
• A positive, accountable and team-focused approach

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm
