Job Title: Inventory Supervisor

We are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Inventory Supervisor based in the UB at the Parts department. Reporting to the Parts Manager, this position supervises an inventory team responsible for completing the daily activities related to supply chain inventory in a safe and productive manner. The Incumbent develops and implements processes and procedures to ensure that all matters related to inventory are completed in accordance with company and customer standards. Full compliance with applicable legislative requirements is also essential.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for investigating, controlling and reconciling any inventory variances on a daily weekly and monthly basis for all warehouse locations.
- Develops and implements inventory strategies for cycle counting accuracy and maintenance. Reconcile inventory physical counting
- Prepare all necessary data entry and confirmation of key milestones as specified by Customer Standard Operating Procedures.
- Implement methods and monitor inventory to achieve appropriate inventory rotation.
- Performs inventory audits to ensure procedural compliance with all processes and reporting.
- Manage inventory to ensure cost effectiveness and financial asset productivity
- Maintain right stock procedure apply the correct order parameters
- Met 8 key Parts KPI target and numbers ensure all parts operation area supervisor, and their team understand the designated KPI result monthly suggest where it need to improve
- Manage seasonal demand stock, (batteries, all dangerous good items, lube oil order during warm seasons etc)
- Monitor service work order and forecast for all components, communicate with service team planner make sure order maintain all necessary parts maintain the right level of stocking
- Manage abnormal parts demand to the best interest of both corporate and customers
- Maintain good communication with all parts staff + service + customers
- Must analyze Quarterly OT-OLA Lead time maintain most accurate lead time
- Continuous improvement – Parts availability, slow – non moving surplus items, emergency fee & air freight fee
- Must be capable of technical, interpretation and translation
- Effectively monitors performance of team members, provides appropriate feedback.
- Works closely with client's representatives to ensure customer satisfaction. Analyzes inventory discrepancies/issues and implements performance improvement processes to enhance future performance.
- Responsible for daily parts counting conducted by inventory control team
Requirements and skills:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with mining and construction equipment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build a strong rapport with our customers.
- Excellent computer skills. (MS Excel,Word, Powerpoint)
- Experience with inventory control systems and ERP software
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and stock control.
- Ability to analyze inventory reports, forecasts, and KPI data.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, strong decision-making skills, and multi-tasking skills required.
- Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with a wide variety of individuals and groups.
- Previous Supervisory experience is an asset.
