NAPA Auto Parts is seeking an enthusiastic detail oriented Store Stock Associate to join our rapidly growing team of Auto Parts professionals. This is the ideal position for a person who is detail oriented with a strong work ethic. As a Store Stock Associate, you will have a variety of duties that would help control and maintain the inventory in our warehouse.
The Inventory Stock Associate is focused onmaintainingaccurateinventory, efficient product flow, and a clean/organized store environmentThis roleis responsible forreceiving/posting freight, cycle counts, shelving/organization/maintenance of inventory,accurateandtimelyorder pulling for delivery drivers, counter customers, and will-callThis role requires strong technical knowledge of automotive parts, the ability toidentifyand source the correct parts, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. The position also serves as a key resource for internal team members on product and system knowledge

Responsibilities
The following primary responsibilities are not all inclusive:
Pullsall orders to be delivered by our drivers to wholesale customers. Also pulls for the demands of the main counter retail/wholesale customers and will-call as accurately and completely as possible, routing products asappropriate, and meeting the prescribedtime frameset by management.
Receive, post, stock, and organize incoming merchandise;maintainaccurateshelving and product placement.
Conduct cycle counts and support ongoing inventory accuracy and record maintenance.
Perform general housekeeping, facility cleaning, packing material/pallet disposal, and area-specific organization while adhering to all safety rules (including hazardous materials handling).
Proficiently use inventory systems for coordination, dispatching support, and fulfillment efficiency.
Periodicallyassistcustomers via phone or in-person (foot traffic) as store volume requires; provide basic support or escalate appropriately
Utilize delivery management systems to coordinate and dispatch deliveries,pulland prepare orders for customers and drivers, and support efficientlogisticsand fulfillment operations.
Contribute to various store operations and team support tasks as needed tooptimizestore performance, merchandising, and overall efficiency.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to store processes and operational standards.
Qualifications
At least1 yearpreviousexperiencestocking, loading, or pulling.
High School Diploma, or equivalent experience,required
Must be functionally literate and capable of understanding and recognizing part numbers and line codes to ensure proper identification of parts for placement in the facility, including identifying sequence of numbers and letters accurately and rapidly.
Mustbe able to write legibly.
Must have basic understanding and be capable ofoperatinga computer terminaland,perform associatedduties asassigned by management.
Must be capable of lifting and moving parts of up to 60 pounds and push/pull 300 pounds using hitch-and-go dolly.
Must be able to move engine blocks and other heavy equipment with moving aids designed to move such items, including hand trucks, dollies, motorized carts, pallet jacks, etc.
Must be able to repeatedly bend or stoop to ground level shelves and be able to reach upper shelves (8 feet) with the use of stool or ladder when necessary.
Must be able to work on their feet (stand or walk) for their assigned work shifts.

Reports to: Store Manager / Assistant Store Manager
Works closely with: Counter Sales Associates, drivers, external customers as applicable (retail and dealer shops)
Part of: Retail Store Operations within NAPA

Retail and warehouse environment
Standing and walking for extended periods throughout the shift
Ability to lift and move parts and equipment up to ~60lbs
Frequent bending, stooping, reaching (including use of ladders/stools)
Use of equipment such as hand trucks, dollies, and hydraulic lifts
Requires visual accuracy foridentifyingpart numbers and sequences
Fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and attention to detail
