Summary of Primary Functions: Maintains accurate inventory records, performs cycle counts and audits, manages inventory transactions in IFS, and supports the efficient flow of incoming and outgoing materials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides weekly inventory cycle counts to the Production Manager and Supply Chain Manager.
• Develops and maintains good working relationships and operational flow with Material Control, Steel Shop Lead, Batch Material Lead, and Production Support Lead.
• Gains working knowledge of IFS and operational flow. Analyzes receiving procedures in Tindall Operating Procedures.
• Maintains accurate daily records of goods received and shipments picked in IFS.
• Assists with incoming and outgoing material flow with Production Support Lead and Material Control.
• Manages and maintains the inventory system (IFS); facilitates upgrades to related databases (USB) and/or software under the Production Manager's direction.
• Analyzes daily IFS entries for duplicates across batch material, inventory, and non-inventory material.
• Conducts frequent spot and partial audits of physical inventory.
• Assists with periodic weekly, monthly, and annual physical inventory audits.
• Operates forklift truck when necessary.
• Performs other related duties as requested.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills with warehouse workers, purchasing department, and outside vendors.
• Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
• Basic understanding of IFS and USB.
• Proficient keyboarding skills.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.

Job Specifications or Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.

Experience: 3–5 years of related experience in inventory control, materials management, or a similar role.
