Job Description

TTI Floorcare has an opening for an Inventory Specialist I (Cycle Count) - 2nd shift in its Greer SC location. We offer competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package -- tuition assistance, 401(k), medical/dental/vision coverage, vacation and holidays.

The Inventory Specialist I is responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and performing warehouse audits to ensure accurate inventory tracking.

The successful candidate must be a self-starter, well organized, able to work both independently and as a team member, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be proficient in MS Office applications. Experience with SAP WM a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform cycle counts and investigate discrepancies, including:

  • ABC Counts
  • Short List Counts
  • Assigned Counts
  • Pulling pallets for any special projects
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support operations

Conduct warehouse audits in multiple areas, including:

  • Inbound receiving
  • Picking operations
  • E-commerce and bulk processing
  • Outbound shipping

Perform additional tasks as needed to support operations and as directed by management.

Ability to be certified on Industrial Power Equipment (Reach Truck, Forklift, Order Picker)

Shared resources between multi-sites

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICIATIONS:

  • Preferred High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
  • Basic knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethics.
  • Must operate heavy machinery – certification is required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, math, and multi-tasking skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods of working on a computer and/or RF device
  • Extended or long periods of standing and walking
  • Repetitive Motion
  • Regularly required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch
  • Regularly be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs., team lift over 50 lbs.
  • Regularly required to reach, pull, and push up to 50 lbs., team lift over 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to operate power equipment (reach truck, order picker, pacer/standup forklift)
  • Ability to work in various temperatures
