Execute the inventoryoptimizationprogram, ensuretransactional discipline,inventory accuracyacross themanufacturingfootprint, andworkplace organizationbest practices in the areas we store inventoryAdditionally, the role will drive accountability through root cause analysisand putting fixes inplaceso wedon’tencounterthe same issues repeatedly. This positionisresponsible forinventory management,providing direction to the team,accuracy of inventory transactions,inventoryaccuracy, andorganization of the warehouses inside and outside of the plants.

Effectivelydeploy inventory policies across the Pipeline Optimization organization(Western Hemisphere)

  • Review all inventory policies and collaborate with key stakeholderstomodifycreate new policies as needed to achieve inventory targets

  • Establish a routine of reviewing E&O inventory atregular intervals

  • Ensure that the parameters in the MRP/ERP system arecorrect

  • Communicate clearly on the impacts to the balance sheet and profit and loss (P&L)

Effectivelymanage theinventory lifecycle

  • Ensure inventory accuracy of 97% or better on routine cycle counts and half/full year inventory counts

  • Work closely with Manufacturing Engineeringand/or Productionto ensure all Bills of Material (BOMs) and routesare properlysetupin our ERP system

  • Work with stakeholders to include Product Management, Finance/Accounting, and Manufacturing/Services to standardize the way we classify inventory

Transformand standardizethe inventory locations to be world class

  • Work with plant and service center leaders toalignon whatworld class looks like for inventory storage locations

  • Establish the audit system with the buy-in ofeachlocation’sleadership

  • Establish and clearly communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) at regular intervals(at least monthly)

  • Conduct audits of the storage locations and communicatefeedback to the plant leadership team at each manufacturing site

Knowledge,skillsand abilities

  • Analytical and strong financial background are preferred

  • Strategic thinker– manages more than the day-to-day toidentifyand solve systemic problems

  • Leads and influencescoach teams on analytics-driven decision making, communicateclear visionfor inventory excellence,build creditability with stakeholders through practical results, champion a data-driven culture without losing trust

  • Systems thinker –see inventory as part of an integrated system,anticipatedownstream impacts of decisions,optimizeinventory at the enterprise level

  • Resourcefulness – uses creativity to find solutions,operateswithresilienceand can adjust strategiesduring downturns, supplyshocksor rapid growth

  • Previousexperience in manufacturingor servicesenvironmentrequired

  • B.S. in businessor equivalent experience
