Responsibleforpreparing,reviewingandplacingorders.
ProvidecommunicationtoCustomer Serviceregardingpurchaseordersincludingavailabilityandcommunicationofanydelays
Prepare, issue,reviseandmonitorPurchaseOrders makingappropriaterevisionsasnecessary
Ensure maintenance ofpurchasingrecords intheERP. Appropriateandeffectiveuseof pop upnotes
Providefeedbackandinput asappropriateforSupply-chainandcross-departmentalmeetings
Makerecommendationtocreateorimprovepurchasingprocedures inconjunctionwithbusinessobjectivesandCustomer Service excellence.
Makerecommendationsandimplementincreasinginventoryturns,reducinginventorycostsandimprovingservicequality
Negotiateandmaintaindetailedrecords of pricingforrawmaterialsfromsupplierpartnersutilizingtoolssuchascontractsandmaintainexistingsupplierrelationships

EducationandExperience:
PreviousBuying or Inventory Planning Experience Required
College Degree, somecollege orrelevant Business Experiencerequired
Chemical Industry Knowledge Desired
2+ years’experience inInventory Management, Supply Chain or Chemical field
Must be able tomultitask
Ability to organize work asrequiredto meet customer demands or corporate demands
Ability to prioritize work,determiningwhat is critical and needs to be completed
