Job Location: Wilmot, WI 53192
Salary Range: $28.00 - $35.00 Hourly

The Inventory Management Specialist is a vital contributor within a manufacturing environment, ensuring materials, components, and finished goods are accurately tracked and available to support production schedules. As an Inventory Management Specialist at Allied Plastics, you will work closely with production, planning, and purchasing teams to maintain inventory accuracy and minimize downtime. This Inventory Management Specialist role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a clear understanding of manufacturing workflows. The successful Inventory Management Specialist understands how inventory accuracy directly impacts efficiency, cost control, and on-time delivery. Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay: Based on Experience
- Utilize Epicor ERP system to manage inventories
- Oversee physical inventories
- Establish inventory controls, policies, and procedures to minimize inventory shortages and discrepancies
- Ensures compliance with established inventory controls, policies, and procedures.
- Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with accounting, manufacturing and quality personnel
- Schedule items for cycle counting using Epicor ERP system
- Conduct cycle count inventory process ensuring accuracy and timely execution
- Maintain and evaluate inventory records on a regular ongoing basis
- Make inventory quantity adjustments in Epicor ERP system as required
- Prepare inventory reports for management providing insight on areas of concern and discrepancies
- Creates and maintains inventory storage locations in Epicor ERP system in conjunction with the physical locations managed by the Logistics Manager.
- Perform month-end WIP process in Epicor ERP system.
- Month-end review, verification and update of all inventories
- Generates, verifies and forwards month-end close inventory reporting to Accounting Manager
- Be willing to perform other duties that may be outside your normal work functions as directed by management

QualificationsBasic qualifications for Inventory Management Specialist
- 3+ years in inventory management, ideally within manufacturing
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Plastics manufacturing experience is a plus
- Proficient using ERP Systems and MS Office
